Replacing the Cabin Air filter on a 2013 Honda Accord is an easy DIY task.
No tools are needed, with the Filter located behind the glove box and a few clips holding it in place.
Cabin air filters need to be replaced every 15,000-30,000 miles depending on the climate lived in. For example, a desert location would need the Filter replaced more often than other locations.
Failure to replace a dirty cabin air filter will block air flowing into the vehicle, which reduces cooling and heating. It is an easy, low-cost fix.

How to Replace Cabin Air Filter 2013 Honda Accord
- Open the glove box.
- At the back of the glove box, push in on the sides, and it will drop down.
- On the right side, there is a lever; push it down, and the glove box will open up fully.
- The air filter is located at the back. Take the plastic holder out by squeezing the clips on the side of it.
- Remove the old air filter.
- Check the new Filter for the airflow direction. It will need to point down.
- Slide in the new Filter. The arrows should be pointing down.
- After the filter is in snap back reattach the glove box.
